Ballard and Son, Private Investigators, opened its doors in 1915 on Larkin Street in the heart of the Tenderloin district in San Francisco.

 

In 1970, a second branch of Ballard and Son was opened on Union Street in the Marina district.

 

In 2005, the Larkin street branch was shuttered and moved to the Linda Mar district of Pacifica. This change of location resulted in the adoption of the name Coastside Detectives for the Pacifica Branch.

 

Coastside Detectives specialize in fidelity investigations, missing persons, hidden assets, background checks and now digital forensics. We also assist in independent criminal investigations ranging from simple robbery to murder. No crime is too small or too big for our highly experienced associates. All rates are negotiable.
